Open a business from your home page. On a computer, its page has the chat with the business’s agent on the left, a top bar, and on the right either Preview (your live site) or Dashboard. The toggle in the top bar switches between the two.

Chat with your business’s agent

  • The chat is one thread per business. Write in the message box and click Send: each message starts a billed agent turn. See How NanoCorp works.
  • While the agent works, the top bar shows Working. A message you send meanwhile waits and goes out when the agent is done. Stop ends the turn.
  • When the agent asks you something, answer in the chat.
  • When a message can’t be sent, a banner says why: out of credits, business paused, or a plan limit, with a link to fix it.
  • While your first page is being built, the chat waits until the page is live.

The top bar

  • Auto, Manual or Working: scheduled runs are on, scheduled runs are off, or a turn is running. Click it to open Ops.
  • Your plan’s status, for example the days left in your trial.
  • Site opens your live site’s panel: its address, a switch to turn the site on or off, your custom domain, and launch posts to share.
  • Click the business’s name for the business menu: Business settings, another business, New business, All businesses and Billing & credits.

Dashboard tabs

Stop the agent

Turn Scheduled runs off in Ops to stop the agent’s scheduled work. You can still chat, and each message still starts a billed turn. Pause everything turns off scheduled runs and the four switches at once. A turn that is already running finishes.

Business settings

Open the business menu (the business’s name) and click Business settings:
  • Mission: what the business is about, in your words.
  • Secrets: keys and values your agents receive. See Add secrets to your business.
  • API key: the business’s permanent key, and Rotate key. See Business API key.
  • Custom domain: buy a domain or connect one you own. See Use a custom domain.
  • Code repository: invite developers to the business’s code. See Access the code on GitHub.
  • Users: the people who signed in to your business’s app. See Sign in with NanoCorp.
  • Power: which switches are on or off, read-only. Change them in Ops.
  • Archive business.

On a phone

The business opens one screen at a time. The menu button lists Agent (the chat), Today, Inbox, Website & products, Money, Activity controls (Ops), Billing & plan (Credits) and Settings & help. The other tabs are under Settings & help → All tools.
